“BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD” – Mahatma Gandhi
Paradyme Management’s Community Outreach initiative is driven by this belief. We want to see our community thrive and prosper, so why not strike the first match and ignite the change?
We have partnered with local organizations and have pledged to support them through sponsorship and volunteerism. We encourage all Paradymers to become involved in the community and provide many opportunities throughout the year for them to do so. Working together for the betterment of the community has strengthened our team and heightened our culture. We are looking forward to continuing our Community Outreach initiative and are excited for its unrelenting expansion in the upcoming years.
Spring Hill Lake Recreation Center
The Spring Hill Lake Recreation Center is the local hang out spot for youths of the Greenbelt community. The rec center provides a safe environment where kids and young adults come to spend time with their peers and participate in a wide array of activities – everything from basketball and volleyball to roller-skating and Foosball. Paradyme Management has provided:
- Sponsorship for tournaments (T-shirts, snacks, beverages)
- Computer desks for the computer lab
- Seasonal treats
- An easy target for the kids to defeat in volleyball – they crushed us.
The rec center offers an opportunity for meaningful employee engagement and encourages Paradymers to invest in the community in which we work. We are looking forward to continuing our relationship with SHLRC and can’t wait to see what the future has in store for this partnership.
The Greenbelt Community Foundation
The Greenbelt Community Foundation is a staple of the Greenbelt community, serving as a conduit between donors and citizens interested in the betterment of the Greenbelt Community. The GCF sponsors many of the projects happening around Greenbelt and in 2007 they even provided the funds necessary to launch a local farmers market.
Paradyme Management has partnered with the Greenbelt Community Foundation in the planning of their 10th Anniversary celebration in 2016. In recognition of the 10th Anniversary, the GCF is sponsoring an awareness raising campaign titled Explore Your Greenbelt. Paradyme Management will be providing internship support to develop the campaign’s goals, marketing, promotion and implementation. We are very excited about this opportunity and look forward to working with the GCF in the future!
